Travel information

The daycare is located in La Mision, Baja California, Mexico. We are about 45 minutes to 1 hour from the San Diego border, in a small colonia between Rosarito and Ensenada.

Directions

Take I-5 or I-805 South to the San Ysidro border. After crossing the border, get into the far right lane. Look for the sign that says “Rosarito, Ensenada Scenic Road.” Take this exit on the RIGHT, immediately after crossing the border. You need to make sure you get on this highway. Keep watching for the “Rosarito, Ensenada Scenic Road” signs and stay on this “scenic road” or “toll” road until you reach La Mision.

You will encounter two toll booths which require you to pay about $2.50 each time. After the second toll booth, you will go about 20 miles and take the exit that says, “La Fonda, La Mision.” Go left at the bottom of the exit.

Follow the road under the freeway and around the mountain. As you come up the hill you will see an electricity plant on the right and a restaurant called Baja Burgers on the Left. As you come up the hill be ready to merge off RIGHT onto the gravel right at Baja Burgers. We are the following two story house. The house is peach color with a big black gate and two palm trees in front. You can’t miss it!
If you make it to a bridge you have gone too far. Please drive safe.
