Iglesia Vida Nueva

New Life Church, located in Alamo, California, has been involved with Open Arms since the beginning. Since 2006, they have seen Open Arms grow – not just physically but also spiritually. They saw the need for a church to minister to the daycare families and to the community. We already had about 50 women in small groups around town, and it was time to plant a church. In January of 2012, New Life decided to start their third here campus at Open Arms. Our goal is to reach the lost and show them a new life in Christ!

Since we first opened the doors of Iglesia Vida Nueva (New Life Church), we have not stopped growing. Most of the daycare families have begun to attend church, and have even taken on leadership roles! It is such a joy for us to watch them grow, and to see how God continues work for them, through them, and in them.

We are so grateful for Pastors Doug and Crystal Heisel for this vision and for their help in providing a church that meets the needs of our community.

The on-site pastors of Iglesia Vida Nueva are Gaby and Efren Garcia, both of whom attended Bible college at Rancho de Sus Niños, the orphanage where Daniel grew up and where Heidi worked for two years.
