My Story

The story of Eidan is one of the most shocking we've seen. Eidan is the brother of Nahomy and Liam, who also attend our daycare. Eidan is a very curious and intelligent child, he knows many stories and loves to listen to others. Eidan's life was a normal life, with mom and dad, and his siblings, until a tragedy happened in the family. Eidan's father had a car accident, and this affected his life forever. Fortunately, he survived the accident but left him very injured. He was left with no brain function and paralyzed. He can't move, he can't talk, he can't do anything alone. Because of this, Eidan's mother had to work very hard to care for his medical needs and her children. Eiden's grandmother takes care of her father so her mother can work. Before Open Arms, the children fended for themselves. It's amazing, as in spite of everything, Eiden and his brothers always have a smile.
