My Story

Melissa is the youngest of two daughters, she is very restless and loves to play. Although she is friendly, she finds it difficult to express her feelings and she has difficulty learning. She lives only with her mother, since during her pregnancy her parents separated.

Last year, her mother and older sister moved to La Misión because the rent was very expensive in Ensenada and her mother's salary was not enough. And apart from the fact that her grandmother could no longer take care of the girls because she had to take care of their 95-year-old great-grandmother as well.

Now they have established themselves in La Misión, they want to stay permanently. Her mother got a job in the human resources area in a well-known restaurant in the community. She is happy with her job and is at peace now that her daughters have a safe place to take care of them while she goes to work. Her plans are to save to buy land and have her own house for her daughters.
