Isaac is a very curious and energetic boy, he is not afraid of anything and loves to be busy. We are very grateful for the life of Isaac and his siblings. Isaac is the youngest brother of Nevaeh and Emanuel, who also attend our daycare. Isaac's story is tragic. He and his siblings are children of drug addict parents. They have grown up without rules, without birth certificates, without ever going to school, without any type of teaching or education. Before they arrived at Open Arms they lived, with their mother, literally in the local garbage dump. Can you imagine the dangers they were exposed to? But Ana, a woman who attends our church, after learning about their situation, decided to do something to help these children. Ana wanted to get these kids off the streets, and out of danger. She spoke with the mom about going into rehab for her drug addiction, and Ana volunteered to foster the kids for as long as needed. The mom agreed, which was a huge win. Then looked for a lawyer to begin the procedures for birth certificates, request guardianship of the children, and enroll them in school. Ana and her husband both work, but she has caught the vision of open arms, and wanted to help this family and keep these kids literally off the streets and out of an orphanage. Now, these three siblings are in our care during the day, so Ana can work, and with Ana and her family every night. We fully trust that God brought this family together for a purpose and Ana and her husband will see the fruit of their effort.
Please help us pray for Isaac, his brothers and Ana and her husband, which they can easily adapt to these changes, that they know and experience the love of Jesus through this new family and that they always know that God has a special purpose for each one.
