My Story

Little Ismael is a very calm and smiling baby who joins the Open Arms family. He is
the younger brother of our sweet Zohemí who has been with us for more than 5
years.
Although the pregnancy was not planned and the mother found out that she was
pregnant after the relationship with her partner had ended, she remained
emotionally calm and Zohemí was the happiest older sister knowing that she would
have a little brother. During pregnancy, the mother had low blood pressure and at
birth the child had a blocked tear duct, but they followed medical instructions and
there were no major health complications. We can be sure that God took care of
her and her baby throughout the entire process until she had him in her arms.
