My Story

Eduardo has a gentle heart and a smile that lights up any room. He’s the youngest in his family, and he loves building with Legos and playing soccer with the other kids. But behind that sweet smile is a boy who’s walked through pain — when he was just seven, his parents separated, and his world changed.

Now living with his mom and two older siblings, Eduardo is learning to navigate life without his dad at home. His mom, a kind and hardworking woman, serves in the Open Arms kitchen and blesses everyone she meets. Together, they attend Open Arms Church, where we’ve seen God begin to bring healing and growth in their lives.
