La Mision
Dimberly is a gentle little girl who radiates sweetness everywhere she goes. Calm and tender by nature, she loves to dance, jump, and play with quiet joy.
Her life began with a miracle—her mother, Alicia, became pregnant at 42, and the pregnancy was extremely delicate. During childbirth, Alicia’s uterus ruptured, and Dimberly was born weighing only two pounds. From the beginning, God’s hand has been upon her, and we believe He has beautiful plans for her life. Alicia is a widow who courageously began building a new life after loss. When she remarried, she soon discovered she was pregnant with Dimberly, but her husband left as soon as he learned of the pregnancy. Dimberly is the youngest of three children. Her two older brothers have autism, and her eldest also battles schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Because of this, it was incredibly important to Alicia that her daughter be in a safe place where she could learn, socialize, and grow without being constantly exposed to her brothers’ crises.
Dimberly also lives with strabismus and struggles with rhinitis during climate changes, but she continues to shine with resilience, gentleness, and a joyful spirit.
We ask for your prayers for Dimberly and her family—may God bring healing, strength, and protection to their lives, and surround them with His peace every single day.
