My Story

José Alejandro is a joyful, curious little boy who loves to explore every corner and climb every stair he can find.

He is the younger brother of Danna and Zoe, who have also grown up in our care, and together they are a beautiful reminder of how God writes stories across generations. This family has been part of Open Arms for many years, and we’ve had the privilege of watching their journey.

hrough challenges and victories, they have remained steadfast—growing in faith, working hard, and even achieving their dream of building their own home. After eight years, God surprised them with the desire of their hearts: a baby boy. José Alejandro is their miracle, their answered prayer. While his mom works long days harvesting vegetables in the fields and his dad labors in construction, they rest with peace knowing their son is safe, loved, and thriving.
