My Story

Pauleth is so precious. She is Rogelio’s little sister, who also attends the daycare.

They live with their mother and grandmother. Their father abandoned them when Pauleth was six months old; he became an alcoholic, and there was a lot of violence in their home. Thank God she and her little brother came into our care so that their mother, as the sole provider for the family, can go to work knowing her children are in a safe place. She was desperate and didn’t know what to do, and didn’t want to send them to an orphanage. She is so grateful OA opened a center in her community. Now this precious family can stay together.
