My Story

Alvaro Yael is a little boy who enjoys being at daycare. For his age, he is very polite and well-behaved.

He loves arriving at his classroom and being greeted by his teacher. Alvaro Yael's mother works at our café, "Cafe Leche y Miel" (Cafe Milk and Honey).  She is one of the chefs, and everything she prepares is delicious.  She also attends the services at our women's ministry, "Ella" (She). Before attending Open Arms, Alvaro Yael was under the care of his paternal grandmother, but she works as a street vendor and travels constantly, and on these trips, she had to take Alvaro Yael with her, which was a risk to him. Thankfully, we were able to welcome Alvaro Yael into our ar, and now his mother can rest assured that he is being cared for in a safe place just steps from her work.

Please help us pray for Alvaro Yael and his family, that through Open Arms they may begin their journey of faith and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
