Men & Women's Ministry

If we desire for things to change in our world, we need to first look to the family and to the home. For a community to thrive, it begins with the family. For a family to thrive, it needs to begin with Jesus. The men and women, mothers and fathers, of our communities need to be given a place to learn about the word of God and the character and nature of Christ. They need to be given a place where they can heal and learn they are loved and chosen by the King. Our women and men’s ministry is that place for our communities.

Ella
Women's Ministry

ELLA, meaning ‘She’ in spanish, is our women’s ministry. The name ELLA comes from the verse Proverbs 31:25, ‘She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.’ Our prayer and hope is that all the women who attend ELLA would be clothed with the strength and dignity of the love of their heavenly Father. In His presence, all things are made new and fear is replaced with joy. ELLA runs twice a year, in the fall and in the spring.  In ELLA we work through different topical Bible studies to meet the needs of women in our community. Through this ministry, hundreds of women have given their hearts to Christ. Women have found healing, restoration, and relationship in Jesus through this ministry.

In 2020, Ella went virtual and began to reach thousands of women through Facebook Live teachings. The Lord allowed us to minister to women in Cuba, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, all over Mexico and the US.

In 2021 Ella expanded to our La Mision Campus, our Los Pinos campus (under a tree in the dirt) and in a church we support in Cuba.

Hombres de hierro
men's ministry

Hombres de Hierro, meaning ‘Iron Men’ in spanish, is our men’s ministry. The name Hombres de Hierro comes from the verse Proverbs 27:17, ‘As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.’ Our prayer for this ministry is that every man that comes would be sharpened by the word of God and would step into their callings as godly men. That every man could come and know they are loved and would no longer walk in shame or fear, but would find freedom and grace in the presence of God. Hombres de Hierro runs twice a year, in the fall and spring, in conjunction with our women’s ministry. In Hombres de Hierro, we work through different topical Bible studies that meet the needs of the men in our community. Many men have given their lives to Christ through this ministry. Through Hombres de Hierro, God is putting hope back into our community.
