My Story

She has twin siblings (Santiago and Isabella) and two cousins (Samuel & Diego) who also attend the daycare. Dayanna is a beautiful girl that has already been through so much for her young age. Her mom passed away at the end of 2014 at the very young age of 22. Her mom’s molars began to hurt her, and the pain would not cease. She went to the dentist to have all of her molars extracted but that did not help the pain. Soon after, she was diagnosed with leukemia and fought a hard battle in the hospital for eight months until she passed away. The passing of her mom was very hard on Dayanna, as she was very close to her. Dayanna’s dad was unable to care for her and her two siblings, so the grandma and aunt have taken custody of her and her siblings during the week while their dad sees them on the weekend. Her grandma and her aunt work and have had no one to take care of the children. This is why we are here. Not only will she have a safe refuge to come to everyday, she will also hear of the love of Christ and the plan He has for her.
