La Mision
He has two older siblings (Limairy and Manuel) who also attend the daycare. Elias is such a sweet little boy! He is very attached to his mom, but he also likes to make friends. He loves to help, share, and play soccer. When Elias’ mom was pregnant with him, his dad, who was abusive and addicted to drugs, left them to work in the United States. His mom took a job at an orphanage to provide food and shelter for her children, but the family was not able to live in the same house and she did not want her kids to grow up in an orphanage. She decided to look for new employment and had to move into a room in her mother’s house with her four kids. They must take turns sleeping on the bed and the floor every night, but Elias’ mom is just happy her kids are able to stay with her. We are committed to fight to keep this family together!. Elias’ mom now works for Open Arms as an assistant in the Toddler Room. The kids love her and she is a great asset to the ministry. Please pray for the needs of this family, that their faith in God would grow.
