Camalu
He has three brothers (Cris, Hugo, and Celso) and two nephews (Emmanuel and Ismael) who also attend the daycare. Eliseo is shy and quiet. He loves to play with his brothers, Chris and Celso, who are also in our care. His family came up from the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca many years ago and settled in Camalu to find work in the agricultural fields. His mom makes approximately $12 a day working in the fields to put fruits and vegetables on America's tables. His oldest sister, the mother of Ismael, Emmanuel and Samuel, forfeited her education to take care of her siblings while her parents went to work in the fields. This family had one of the worst living conditions that we had seen but thankfully, through a generous sponsor, we were able to bless them with a new home. This family attends Open Arms church, and is following Christ. Please pray that Elisoe’s family continues to grow in their faith and follow Jesus.
