My Story

She has one older brother (Dylan) and one younger brother (Iker) who also attend the daycare. Hannia is the best hugger. When she first started attending Open Arms she had a hard time adjusting, but now she never wants to leave! She loves every part of being at the daycare. Hannia has two brothers, Dylan and Iker, also in our care. Her dad left when her mom was two months pregnant with her younger brother. Before coming to OA Hannia's mom worked as a waitress and earned 900 pesos a week, about $45 American dollars. But with the help of OA she has now graduated high school and has a better paying job! OA helped keep this family together, and helped care for the kids while their mom worked and finished school to give them a better life. Now Hannia and her siblings are safe, and their mom has had a weight taken off of her. They have come to church several times, but his mom has not made a commitment to follow Christ. Please pray that Hannia’s mom would accept Jesus as her Savior and raise her children for the glory of God!
