My Story

Isaias is timid and quiet most of the time. (Probably because he is the youngest of five siblings!)

Isaias’ mom came from southern Mexico, escaping a very abusive relationships. When she arrived we accepted her four daughters into our care (Arlet, Arcelia, Esmerlda and Sophia). After settling in, finding a job, and finding a new normal for her and her daughters, she met a man whose child is in our care. They quickly entered into a relationship, moved in together and she became pregnant with Isaias.

Isaias’ father was a Christian and realized his mistake. They decided to live apart until they could get married. Through this situation, Isaias’ mom has given her life to Christ and both of them serve in the local church. She even decided to get baptized, praise the Lord! Their children are being taught to follow God through their example. God is so merciful and good! His restoration in this situation has been a true miracle.

Please pray that Isaias would follow God’s call in His life as he grows in the knowledge of the Lord.
