My Story

She has one older sister (Tania) who also attends the daycare. Johana is such a sweetheart. Johana’s mom used to be in an abusive relationship with Joanna‘s father. Who was very controlling and had anger issues which was usually taken out on the mom when they were tight on money. Joanna‘s mom used to work in the agricultural fields to make an income in hopes that her husband wouldn’t beat her. Now her husband is no longer in picture and employed by OA. We are grateful Johana and her mom are now safe. Poverty hurts the whole family. It can turn people to alcohol and drugs and/or abuse. With the help of Open Arms we will continue to help her mom fight her for her family. Please pray for Johana and her mom. Pray that God would continue to protect and provide for this family.
