My Story

He has one younger brother, Esteban. Joshua is very calm and quiet for a boy his age. He is introverted and enjoys playing quietly. He has a soft, gentle spirit and has made many friends at the daycare! Joshua’s dad is a single dad. His parents separated when he was a toddler, and he lived for a short time with his mom and her boyfriend. During that time, the mother’s boyfriend was abusive to Joshua and his younger brother Esteban. When Joshua’s dad found out about the abusive situation, he recovered the children into his care. Joshua’s grandma was helping to care for him and Esteban, but when she had to get a job the family needed a safe place for Joshua and his brother while their dad and grandma work. We love that a single dad fought for his children and has kept his family together! We are honored to step in and provide the care this family needs to thrive. Please pray for Joshua and his family, that they can heal from the physical and emotional abuse.
