My Story

Joshua is a doll and the boy version of his big sister, Galilea, who is also in our care. His mom was very young when she had his sister, and as soon as his mom found out she was pregnant, the dad left her. Two years later, the dad asked for forgiveness and asked for another chance. Joshua’s mom gave him another chance and got pregnant again with Joshua. The dad left again upon hearing the news that they had another child on the way. It has been very devastating for the entire family. Joshua lives in a shack with his mom, sister, grandparents and aunt. They make the most out of it. Through all of the pain, of being pregnant and left to fend for herself, Joshua’s mom found Jesus. She was the first christian in her family and brought her older sister, her mom, three aunts and her grandparents to the Lord. They all now attend Open Arms Church in Camalu. Please pray for Joshua’s mom , that her faith would remain firm and that she would be able to love and lead her children like God has called her to.
