My Story

He is an only child and has an aunt (Joseline) who also attends the daycare. His mom works at a coconut stand on the side of the road to support herself and Kevin. He is a sweet boy. He is quiet but he loves to play. He loves his aunt Joseline, who is also in our care. They are inseparable! Kevin’s mom got pregnant when she was 16 and decided to move in with her boyfriend. Everything seemed okay until her boyfriend started using drugs. This left Kevin in a vulnerable environment; the drugs made his dad turn into a totally different person and it became unsafe for him and his mom to live there. Kevin’s parents separated and he and his mom ended up moving back in with Kevin’s grandma. They are now safe. His mom works at a coconut stand by the side of the road, and it became very dangerous for Kevin to go to work with her. Several times, he ran out into the busy street and was in danger of being hit by cars. It was no place for a child. Kevin had been on our waiting list since he was three months old and now it was time for him to join our family. Please pray for Kevin and his mom, that God will heal their hearts and bring them into His loving arms!
