My Story

Mario Santiago is an only child. Both his mom and dad are very young and weren’t planning on starting a family so soon. During his mom’s pregnancy, she went through a very hard time. Her brother, Mario Santiago’s uncle, was diagnosed with stage four cancer, and she was one of his main caretakers. He passed away when she was 9 months pregnant. During this time, she had a strain on her pregnancy and thought that Mario Santiago was going to be born early. However, God had a different plan and she carried him to full term despite the physical exertion and emotional trauma. Mario Santiago’s mom had been coming to our church off and on, but with the passing of her brother and the birth of her son, both she and her husband now attend church regularly. God uses even the worst of situations to bring restoration and redemption. Please pray for Mario Santiago and his family. Pray that Santiago would feel the love of Jesus here and that his parents would remain faithful to the Lord.
