My Story

He has one older sister (Rebecca), and five cousins who attend the daycare. Matias is a ray of sunshine to all who meet him. His smile warms everyone’s heart. He had been on our waiting list for a couple of years until we were able to accept him and his sister, Rebecca, into our care. Matias loves playing with cars in the dirt and kicking the ball around the playground. Matias’ mom works at the local medical clinic as a medical receptionist and his dad is a nighttime security guard for a local neighborhood. His mom is a very strong Christian. She is a leader in the local church, the women’s Bible study there and is in Seminary school. Unfortunately, while his dad is a hard worker who loves his family, he struggles with personal issues and is not a Christian. Please pray that Matias’ dad would accept the love Christ offers and begin to be the leader of his family.
