My Story

He has a twin sister (Isabella) and an older sister (Dayanna) who attend the daycare with him. Santiago has the sweetest smile and gives great hugs. His mom passed away at the end of 2014 at the very young age of 22. Her mom’s molars began to hurt her, and the pain would not cease. She went to the dentist to have all of her molars extracted but that did not help the pain. Soon after, she was diagnosed with leukemia and fought a hard battle in the hospital for eight months until she passed away. The passing of her mom was very hard on the whole family. Santiago’s dad was unable to care for him and his other siblings, so the grandma and the aunt have taken custody of him and his siblings during the week while their dad sees them on the weekend. His grandma and his aunt work and have had no one to take care of the children. This is why we are here. Not only will he have a safe refuge to come to everyday, he will also hear of the love of Christ and the plan He has for him. Please pray for him, he still mourns the loss of his mother.
