Yocelin has grown up very fast and has had to care for her younger siblings, Sarahi and Esmeralda, while her parents work in the strawberry fields every day. Her and her brother Cesar have had a lot of responsibility placed on them due to the long hours their parents are at work since they are the older siblings. Her parents are Christians and have worked hard to keep the family together. Before attending OA they were a very “at risk” family. At risk of the dangers of being home alone all day, and at risk of getting taken to an orphanage. This is sadly, the case for too many children in Mexico due to the lack of childcare facilities. Thanks to your support these children are now safe, out of harms way and they could be kids again. Please pray that Yocelin adjusts to being in our care, and that her family continues to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
