My Story

The story of Nahomy is one of the most shocking stories we've seen. Nahomy is the older sister of Eidan and Liam, who also attend our daycare. Nahomy is a very sweet girl and her smile reaches your heart. Nahomy's life was a normal life, with a mom and a dad, and her brothers, until a tragedy happened in the family. Nahomy's father had a car accident, and this affected his life forever. Fortunately, he survived the accident but left him very injured. He was left with no brain function and paralyzed. He can't move, he can't talk, he can't do anything alone. Because of this, Nahomy's mother had to work very hard to care for his medical needs and her children. Nahomy's grandmother takes care of her father so her mother can work. Before Open Arms, the children fended for themselves. It's amazing, as in spite of everything, Nahomy and her brothers always have a smile.
