My Story

Lía is a little 3-year-old girl who loves to play with kids her age, but when she meets new people she is a little shy.

Lía belongs to a family of six members in a small house with two rooms, one of the rooms is the bedroom where the entire family sleeps: her mother, her grandmother, her grandmother's husband, and her mother's two brothers. The other room in the house is a  kitchen.  Her mom is a single mom, who is in desperate need of childcare for her daughter. The living situation is dire. 

Before coming to Open Arms, Lía was under the care of her grandmother who sometimes had to take her to work with her, and couldn’t pay attention to her needs. 

Please help us pray for Lia and her family, that through Open Arms that they can get to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and their lives can be transformed.
