The life of a young adult is filled with transition. College, moving out, getting married, and having children. Young adults sit in that weird in between of the high school community and the adult community. We saw the need their was in our community for the young adults that are all looking for a place to belong and be loved.
This is where AGAPE began. The name AGAPE comes from the verse in Colossians 3:14, ‘Over all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.’ AGAPE means ‘brotherly love’ and that is our hope and prayer for our young adult community. In a time where they are doing so much searching to set their own beliefs and find where they belong, we pray that they would find it in the love of Christ and in the brotherly love of community. Since the beginning, this ministry is slowly growing. It has become a beautiful place of friendship and intimacy with the Lord for many young adults.
