My Story

His mom is a single mom and works very hard to keep her family together. He has two younger siblings (Jarem & Janin) who also attend the daycare. Jamil is a rambunctious little boy Jamil has had a lot of inconsistency in his life. Him and his sister Jannin were passed around back-and-forth from neighbor to neighbor, family member to family member, while their single mother had to go to work every day. Unfortunately the inconsistency in their life led to an unfortunate taking place. While being babysat by one of the neighbors Jamil’s sister was raped. It was a devastating event for both Jamil and his sister. Luckily they are now in the safety of OA where they can have consistency and love. Please pray for Jamil and his family.
