My Story

Naomi has a warm spirit and you can see it in her smile. She is an excellent big sister and a great example to her siblings, who also attend the daycare. Her and her brother Axel have the same father who is in jail for robbery and their half-sister, Yana, has a dad who is also out of the picture. When this family first came to us, their mom was a single mother. But because of our mission to keep families together, she has really tried to make it work with the younger daughter's father. They are coming to church together, and really trying to keep God in the center. This is a huge praise. Before the children came to the daycare, they did not have stable care. They were always looked after by a different person every day while their mom went to work. Naomi’s mom worked at a paper recycling plant but has found a better paying job and works very hard to keep her family together. They attend Open Arms Church in Camalu. Please pray for Nahomi’s family that they would continue to fight to be together and that Nahomi and her siblings would continue to know the love Christ has for them!
