My Story

She has one younger brother (Matias), and five cousins who attend the daycare. Rebecca is a sweet, kind little girl. She smiles so much that we joke she must smile in her sleep. She had been on our waiting list for a couple of years until we were able to accept her and her brother, Matias, into our care. She loves to jump rope and play school with the other girls at the daycare. Rebecca’s mom works at the local medical clinic as a medical receptionist and her dad is a nighttime security guard for a local neighborhood. Her mom is a very strong Christian. She is a leader in the local church, the women’s Bible study there and is in Seminary school. Unfortunately, while her dad is a hard worker who loves his family, he struggles with personal issues and is not a Christian. Please pray that Rebecca’s dad would accept the love Christ offers and begin to be the leader of his family.
