He has two siblings who are too old to attend the daycare. His mother works at the beach, selling food to tourists. His favorite thing to do is play ball. Alexander was lovingly welcomed into the Open Arms family. His mom waited to hear from us for a year and a half until we were finally at the point where we were able to accept him at the daycare. Alexander comes from a difficult situation: the man whom he calls “dad” is not his biological father. Before the church plant happened here at Open Arms in January of 2012, his mom and dad were in an on-and-off relationship. His family is now attending church and Alexander’s parents are consistently together and able to provide him with a healthier home environment. Alexander used to be quite rowdy and out of control. But since he has been here we have seen God’s love working in his life. Alexander is now one of our most well-behaved children! It is such an honor to be able to help him find his true potential and the calling that God has for his life. Please pray for his family, that they will honor the Lord with their lives!
